Red berries mousse Recipe

Simple. Easy. Delicious.

Thinking about more mousse in the same week. Would that be too much?
The answer's in the berries. They go so amazingly well with this mousse, that you won't even reconsider it (although you can also use other fruits if you like them best).

This is a really light and healthy dessert (if you don't count on the meringue!), so its totally acceptable as an afternoon snack, or even as a breakfast. Unquestionably light, creamy and flavorful!

Yogurt mousse with red berries & meringue

Serves 4 (15 minutes)

Ingredients:
  • 3 greek yogurts
  • 60g cream cheese
  • Lemon juice
  • 100 ml of fresh whipped cream
  • Sugar
  • 8 meringue
  • 8 strawberries cut into small cubes
  • 12 raspberries
  • 12 blueberries
Directions:
Mix well the greek yogurt with the cream cheese, and add some lemon juice. Beat the whipped cream until stiff, with a little bit of sugar. Be careful not to add too much sugar, because the meringue is very sweet. Wrap the whipped cream into the mixture of yogurt and cream cheese.
To assemble, alternate layers of mousse, meringue and, at the end, some raspberries and the blueberries. Grab a spoon!


Mousse de iogurte com morangos, framboesas, mirtilos e suspiros

4 pessoas (15 minutos)

Ingredientes:
  • 3 iogurtes gregos
  • 60g de queijo creme
  • Sumo de limão q.b.
  • 100 ml de natas
  • Açucar q.b.
  • 8 suspiros
  • 8 morangos cortados em cubinhos
  • 12 framboesas
  • 12 mirtilos
Misture o iogurte grego com o queijo creme, envolva bem e junte um pouco de sumo de limão. Bata as natas, acrescente um pouco de açucar e bata novamente. Tenha atenção para não juntar demasiado açucar, pois os suspiros são bastante doces. Envolva as natas na mistura de iogurte e queijo creme.
No momento de servir, coloque num prato um pouco de mousse, um pouco de suspiros esmagados e, por fim, as framboesas e os mirtilos.
