Brocoli Frittata

It´s almost weekend. Thank god it´s Friday!!

Today, I'll be showing you how to prepare a broccoli frittata! To be honest, the recipe it´s completely new, it was the first time I´ve tried to make it. And, I think everyone liked it. Even the kids! Off course, they would have preferred to change the dried tomato for ham or bacon!

Anyway, let me just tell you about this frittata. It's easy to make, pleasing to the eye and totally delicious!!

Broccoli Frittata
(with goat cheese)

Serves 4 (15 minutes)

  • 300g broccoli
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 goat cheese
  • 150g dried tomato
  • 1/2 onion
  • 1 small clove of garlic
  • olive oil
  • salt flower
  • black pepper
  • watercress
Cut the broccoli in smaller pieces. Slice the onion and the garlic clove. Chop de dried tomato and slice the goat cheese (put the dried tomato on hot water to hydrate it). In a frying pan, heat the olive oil and place the onion and the garlic to cook, with the broccoli. Season with slat flower and black pepper. Add the eggs, lightly mixed, stirring often. Turn down the heat and add the cheese.
Place the frying pan in the woven, about two minutes, to grill.
Garnish with watercress salad, seasoned with olive oil and pepper, on top of the frittata!

Frittata de Brócolos
(com Queijo de Cabra)

4 pessoas (15 minutos)

  • 300g de brócolos
  • 6 ovos
  • 1 queijo de cabra
  • 150g de tomate seco
  • 1/2 cebola
  • 1 dente de alho
  • azeite
  • flor de sal
  • pimenta-preta
  • agrião

Corte os brócolos em pedaços pequenos. Lamine o alho e a cebola finamente. Pique o tomate seco e fatie o queijo (se comprar tomate seco, sem ser em azeite, hidrate-o em água quente). Aqueça um fio de azeite numa frigideira e coloque a cebola e o alho, com os brócolos. Tempere com flor de sal e pimenta. Junte depois os ovos, batidos ligeiramente, mexendo bem. Baixe o lume e adicione o queijo.
Leve a frigideira ao forno cerca de dois minutos, para gratinar.
Retire e sirva com salada de agrião, temperada com azeite e pimenta, em cima da frittata.
